Troy Myers, OD

Troy Dean Myers, OD is an experienced optometrist practicing in Glendive, Montana, for the past 18 years. He graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2007, where he completed externships at the Walla Walla VA Hospital, Highline Vision Center in Denver, Omaha Eye and Laser Institute, and the Illinois Eye Institute. In 2007, Troy joined Dr. Gary Jacobsen’s practice, where he worked until Jacobsen’s retirement.

Dr. Myers completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND, majoring in Biology and Chemistry with a minor in Theology, and was also a student athlete. He attended Dawson County High School for his secondary education.

Beyond his professional practice, Dr. Myers is actively involved in the community, serving on the Board of Trustees for the local hospital and participating in the Red Devil Legacy Foundation. He has previously been a member of the Lions Club and was involved with the local Ducks Unlimited chapter.

As a dedicated father, Dr. Myers enjoys coaching his son, Winsten, in various youth sports, including baseball, basketball, football, and soccer. In his free time, he is an avid hunter and fisherman who loves exploring the great outdoors. A fun fact about Dr. Myers is that he was a former state champion in track and field and an All-American in college athletics.

Dr. Myers is committed to providing exceptional eye care to both new and existing patients, reflecting his dedication to the health and well-being of the Glendive community.

Staff

The Staff at Glendive EyeCare is very knowledgeable and helpful in making your visit to our office a pleasant one.

Tana Buckley has been with Glendive EyeCare 32 years and is very well versed in all insurance and billing questions.

Janette Bogar has been employed with us for 31 years and helps keep the office organized and running smoothly. She manages the accounts payable and accounts receivables.

Candice Durham joined our office approximately 18 years ago and provides an integral part of the office flow.

Shalene Goodale and Callie Dasinger are our new faces in the office. Both Shalene and Callie are in charge of our pre and special testing and are trained in all aspects of frame selection and lens design.

Elaine Brophy has been with us for 2 years and you can find her pretesting and contact lens instructing.

Our staff members are certified paraoptometric assistants and attend training throughout the year. Everyone is very helpful in your eyewear needs.
